Are you fluent in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Norwegian, or Swedish and interested in helping customers in the financial services industry? If so, our client is seeking Bilingual Customer Service Agents to join their team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to assist customers in their native language while providing exceptional customer service in English.

Responsibilities

Daily Expectations for Your Role

As a Bilingual Customer Service Agent, your responsibilities include:


  • Handling incoming phone calls from customers with queries and providing appropriate resolutions.

  • Recording case resolutions accurately in the contact center tool based on client communication via phone, email, chat, etc.

  • Ensuring cases are resolved within the designated case life cycle, meeting individual balanced scorecard metrics.

  • Escalating priority issues per client specifications to the immediate lead as applicable.

  • Working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Maintaining excellent communication with both internal and external contacts.

  • Meeting quality standards on all handled customer contacts.

  • Completing hours of staffed time on all rostered days.

  • Handling customer contacts while meeting defined project targets for response time, handle time, and resolution rate.

Requirements

Qualifications for Success

To thrive in this role, you'll need:


  • Fluency: Must be fluent (B2+ and above) in either Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Norwegian, or Swedish, along with manageable English (B1+ and above) skills.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both the relevant market language and English.

  • Technical Requirements: Proficiency in using computers and the ability to multitask across systems and applications effectively.

  • Availability: Ability to work shift hours and adapt quickly to changes in prioritization.

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an outsourced customer service environment is advantageous.


Ideal Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:


  • Written Communication: Excellent written communication skills in the relevant market language, with a typing speed of minimum 50 words per minute.

  • Availability: Ability to work part-time and start immediately.

  • Location: Must be able to work onsite in Riga, Latvia

  • Background: Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, or a similar field.
